Progressive Insurance Company ran a well-received Progressive commercial with the now famous Progressive Insurance commercial girl. Progressive Insurance Company is an insurance company that provides auto insurance reviews and insurance reviews from other providers alongside their own rock-bottom rates. Progressive Insurance Company sells insurance for cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, and everything else.

Stephanie Courtney is the actress in the Progressive commercial. She’s now well known as, simply, the Progressive Insurance commercial girl. She’s buoyant, cheery, and attractive, and she adds a lot of flair and energy to the average Progressive commercial. Stephanie Courtney is originally from Stony Point, New York. She graduated from the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, and then she started a successful career in stand-up comedy in Los Angeles. She’s the primary company member of the widely known Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles. She’s a regular performer at the Aspen Comedy Festival in Colorado. She’s also participated in Mr. Show and has co-written her own show, “Those Courtney Girls”, with her sister, Jennifer. She’s also been in big-name movies like The Brothers Solomon and The Heartbreak Kid. She’s a comic goldmine. She’s even worked on the Adult Swim show called Tim & Eric. She’s so quirky and memorable in the commercial and she’s known for the tagline, “Wow!” She puts a lot of energy into the commercials. She has a series of commercials with Progressive company that feature different customers each time, but she’s the cashier each time. The commercial usually features a store-like environment where people purchase fictitious insurance items – in contrast to an office where licensed salesman sell insurance at desks. Stephanie Courtney is always the cashier in this made-up Progressive store. She wears a Progressive apron with a nametag that says, ‘Flo’. She refers to this as her big tricked out nametag in the commercial. Since Progressive Insurance Company offers auto insurance reviews and insurance reviews from other top companies, the commercial itself features a big scoreboard-like apparatus that shows the rates of other top companies. The real feature, however, that ties together the whole line of commercials is the actress herself, Stephanie Courtney – a now veteran comedian with a lot of gusto and sweetness.

She is definitely known as the only Progressive Insurance commercial girl. Progressive Insurance Company made a wise bet when they chose her for the part. There is actually another, less well known, Progressive commercial with a blonde girl named Monica Creel. Monica Creel is one of three triplets. Her sisters have appeared on the hit show, Saved By The Bell, and in the recent Parent Trap movies. She’s sometimes confused with her sister, Leeana Creel. 

Before Stephanie Courtney landed the job with Progressive Insurance Company as the Progressive Insurance commercial girl, she was relatively unknown. This position has skyrocketed her notoriety and gotten her hired for many different roles in movies, television, and more commercials. Her facial expressions, nasal voice, and odd demeanor have earned her a spot in television history. She’s definitely a noteworthy and memorable star nowadays.
